Signed in pen by the Secretary John Bielke, and President, Hartley O. Baker. There are also 3 other items accompanying this certificate. These include a sheet, 8.5 x 5.5, torn and taped, which was sent originally in 1925 along with the certificate and included a receipt which is now missing, which was sent back to Baker to ensure that you received the certificate from them. Small memo, 4 x 2, regarding an address change, an interesting letter from Davis, Badger and Company, Stocks and Bonds Dealer, Salt Lake City, " We are sorry that we are acquainted with none of the stocks named by you except Baker Steam Motor, This company is dead ". There are also many handwritten notes in pencil on this letter regarding various stocks that may have been owned by the individual who was Mack Goldowitz, Of Brooklyn, New York. The Baker Steam Car and Truck was produced from 1918 through 1925 in Denver and Pueblo, Colorado. Just a few prototypes were produced.
