Original non color folder, 8.5 x 11 folded, 17 x 11 unfolded, the folder is soiled, worn, and stained at one corner. Also includes two page typewritten press release, 8 x 10.5, soiled at corner. Describes the Fire Boid Experimental Turbine which was assembled at the Offutt Airforce base, Strategic Air Command, Omaha, Nebraska. This car started life as a 1953 Kurtis Firestone powered by a Meyer Drake Engine and was in the top five in the 1953 Indy Race. The engine was replaced by a Boeing Airplane Turbine and used JP4 Aviation Fuel. The SAC Hobby Shop built this vehicle and had other Gas Turbine Projects in mind. There are two USAF recruiting station stamps on the front and rear covers as well as a printed message, " Tenth Anniversary, Strategic Air Command " and several California Recruiting stations are printed on the back.
