1955 Lancia Aurelia B12 Berlina, Pininfarina
Syracuse, New York
Hailed by many as the first to produce a grand touring automobile, Lancia introduced the B20 Aurelia GT designed by the renowned Vittorio Jano in ig50-Styled by Pininfarina, it was a sporting version of the Aurelia Saloon, featuring the world’s first production V-6 engine and the first use of radial tires. Mr. Miller’s Aurelia remained in Europe from new until 20I3- It has participated in many rallies, including the London to Capetown, South Africa Rally in igg8 (l2,000 miles). The car is largely original, with minor rally modifications that include engine and gas tank. It is making its U.S. show debut today.
